The main groups of the Bank are Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking, International
Banking and Treasury.
Sys admin assistance for all bank sub-systems including Bank teller interface, Email, ITSM, SCOM Monitoring, Backup administration, user creation and mobile banking and SQL DBA support.
Accountable for Results, Customer Service Orientation, Flexibility, Initiative, Time management, available when needed.
1. Email exchange Management / administration
Administration/Configuration/Technical support to Mailboxes/exchange servers/Outlook client
2. ITSM administration
ITSM Remedy system administration
3. Bank Centralized monitoring administration (SCOM)
SCOM System center online monitoring support and administration
4. Bank centralized Backup Administration (EMC Networker)
Networker support and administration, monitoring, alerting, corresponding with vendor
Provide support and administration to EMC Networker Backup System which includes: Maintain and Support Centralized Backup System for All Banks Windows Servers including MS Exchange Environment and Databases. Backup all storage CIFS / VNX environments.
5. Gulf bank SMS Alerting System Administration
Elbarid SMS System support/Complaint hub Issues/SMS statistics – SQL knowledge is required.
6. Beam System Support
Front end interface of core banking “Beam” release deployment on UAT /Production) including Support for the same.
7. Business objects Support
Business Objects Administration/Configuration/Support/User Creation/Maintaining.
8. SQL DB support / reporting
Provide support for MS SQL DBs 2005 / 2008 /2012 servers.
9. Microsoft Active Directory / Group Policy administration and support.
Provide full support for AD GPO and maintain the same in coordination with ISS team and Vendor support.
Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Education / Qualifications: BSc Degree in computer science / engineering or similar.
Knowledge: SQL Server knowledge (SQL DBA is a plus), Oracle Queries and forms, C++, Dot Net & Java.
Experience: 2 - 4 years of experience in IT technical support service
Accreditation / Licensing: ICDL, MCP and MCSE
Generic & Specific Skills: Good communication skills, Accuracy and attention to detail, Analytical Thinking, Required Technical expertise
